Consider giving the gift of stocks to Guardian Angels. The donation is an excellent way to support the parish and receive tax benefits for the gift. It is very easy to donate stocks and securities. Inform your broker about the gift you would like to make and inform the Guardian Angels business office about the donation. That way we can make sure you are properly acknowledged for the gift and receive the proper tax credit.

How is stock given?

1. Electronic Transfer (DTC)

Instruct your broker to transfer (not sell) the stock directly to the Guardian Angels account at UBS Financial Services. The transfer information is as follows:

  FBO Guardian Angels

2. Share Certificate Transfer

The donor signs the back of the stock certificates or an authorization form provided by the broker.

Have your broker send it and the stock certificates via registered mail to:

What Happens?

UBS Financial Services has been instructed to sell donated shares as soon as possible.
Guardian Angles will send the donor an acknowledgement letter.
