I’ve always loved the anonymous quote, “There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots, the other, wings.” An alum of Guardian Angels, I am so excited to return to my roots while helping tend the roots and nudge the wings of our students! Not only are GA students rooted in their faith, they are challenged academically, supported in those academic challenges and, most importantly, are taught to act upon the call to serve. Guardian Angels is a wonderful place to be! After graduating from McNicholas High School and Xavier University, my first teaching job out of college was in the first grade, here at Guardian Angels. Years later, after having taught at other grade schools and high schools, I was excited to return to Guardian Angels once again, this time as an Intervention Specialist with Cincinnati Public Schools. I have 22 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education K-12, with my Masters in Special Education. My husband John and I have four children and live in the Anderson area. We keep busy attending sporting events, music concerts and even a few art shows here and there as our children are stretching their own wings making career choices and sharing their new found interests with us!
