PTA

The Guardian Angels PTA is an alliance of parents and teachers. When each supports the other, we strive toward a common goal…to provide our children with the best possible education. The continual success and growth of the PTA programs of GA depends on ALL of us. Guardian Angels greatly depend on all of us to continue the many programs and events that truly unite our school community.

With the incredible involvement of our members, the students of Guardian Angels receive many special services that otherwise would not be provided. We look to you, the members of the Guardian Angels PTA, for support in a number of areas including:

1. Volunteers: Your child’s grade school years will be gone before you realize, so even if you have young ones at home, even if you aren’t sure what you can do, even if you are busy we need you! We need you if you have an hour or an evening…for a little job or a big job. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities that can fit anyone’s schedule and skills.

2. Membership Dues: The PTA membership dues are $25. Our treasurer details some of our projects on the Treasurers Report later in this handbook.

3. Fundraiser Support: The PTA sponsors fundraising activities throughout the year. Through various sales, promotions and events (such as 365 Lotto, Market Research, Gift Card Bazaar, Spirit wear, etc.) we generate the funds to cover many school wide needs not supported by other school budgets. Our fundraising dollars cover enrichment programs for our children and specific classroom needs for our teachers. Our Kroger Gift Card Program generates funds exclusively for technology development & enhancements in our school.
