2010 Guardian Angels Festival Bid-N-Buy
A Fun Way to Get Involved at GA!
The 2010 Guardian Angels Festival is set for June 11-13, and the ever-popular Bid-N-Buy tent will be back with hundreds of exciting and innovative items up for bid!! The Bid-N-Buy is a tremendous source of fundraising for our Parish: it has raised more than $50,000 for GA in the past two years alone!
Please consider taking part in this fun parish tradition by donating creative, one‑of‑a‑kind items that can be found only at our Festival. Bid-N-Buy is a great way to share your time and unique talents with others in our Parish, all for the benefit of our Church and School.
What can you do to help?
Vacation Getaways – Do you have a condo by the beach? A time share? Frequent flyer miles you can donate?
Donate A Professional Service – a few hours of your time will raise funds for our parish and will provide new leads for your business!
Whip Up a Culinary Masterpiece - whip up a special dish, or maybe you can go in with friends to deliver a whole meal.
Contribute A Craft — put your talents on the auction block, or share your talents by donating a class to show how you do what you do.
That’s The Ticket!— Are you a season ticket holder? Do you have access to a corporate box? Or would you just like to donate tickets to the Cineplex?
Create A Basket — anything you want it to be! If a collection of items would break your budget, consider putting a great basket together with friends.
Complete a Basket!- Each year generous donations are made to Bid-N-Buy that can be made even more valuable when included with a few more basket accessories. If you would like a list of donated items that can be “enhanced” by your creativity, please call Amy Obermeyer at 833-7682.
Parties-by-Parishioners- Sign-ups will also be located in the Bid-n-Buy tent, as usual. If you have a party idea, please call Stephanie Smith at 233-0482 or Maureen Eckert at 321-2328.
The most exciting thing about Bid-N-Buy is that it is an opportunity to provide unique items that can’t be found in stores. That’s why services, homemade food and one-of-a-kind experiences are such hot tickets and can raise so much money. Let your imagination go… then, call Amy at 833-7682 or fill out the donation form.
