Summer Reading and Math Requirements 2010
In order to help students maintain their skills in Reading and Math during the summer months, all students going into grades 1 — 8 will have Reading and Math assignments that will be due on the first day of school, August 25, 2010.
All students going into grades 1 — 8 are asked to keep a reading log of all the books that they read during the summer and to read one required book as listed below. Each grade level Language Arts teachers have given specific instructions to the students in a letter that was sent home with the report cards on the last day of school. A copy of the letter can be viewed below by grade level.
Borders (Eastgate) and Joseph-Beth Booksellers (Rookwood) have the required novels. You may also order the books through Book Rack at 8315 Beechmont Avenue – Phone # 474-1337 and receive a 20% discount.
