Principal Stoops Awarded St John the Baptist Award

The St. John the Baptist Award is given each year to a principal who truly “sticks his neck out” to introduce new and innovative programs into his school. Regardless of whether the program succeeds or, like St. John the Baptist, the principal becomes a martyr, this award recognizes courageous leadership and a willingness to consider new ideas. The recipient of the award is determined by the Catholic School Office with includes the superintendent and regional directors. Mr. Stoops is currently serving his seventh year as the principal of Guardian Angels School!
