I began teaching at Guardian Angels at the start of the 2018-19 school, but that is not my first year being at Guardian Angels. I began at GA in 3rd grade when my family moved to Cincinnati and I attended through 8th grade. I am so happy to be returning to Guardian Angels as the junior high science teacher. I grew up exposed to camping and being outside so initially chose to pursue an environmental science degree path. Once I had children, I realized how much I wanted to share science with students. I returned to school and completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Middle School Science 6-9 at West Virginia University-Parkersburg. I taught 7th and 8th grade science in Parkersburg, West Virginia for many years. I have five children who now live across the United States, so I decided I would come back home to Cincinnati to be close to my brothers and sisters. Being back at Guardian Angels completes the feeling of being home.
