I began teaching music privately and performing professionally at age 14 and am in my 29th year at Guardian Angels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education/Saxophone from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and a Masters degree in Education Administration from Xavier University. My past experience includes teaching high school band and chorus at Bethel-Tate HS, being an adjunct faculty member at the University of Mount St. Joseph and an adjunct Lecturer of jazz in CCM’s Preparatory Department. I am an OMEA adjudicator and Jazz Chair of the OMEA Professional Development Conference 2016. I’ve had the honor of conducting the OMEA District 14 Jr. High Honor Band and was given the “Applause Award” for being an outstanding elementary music educator in southwest Ohio.
