The EdChoice Scholarship Program provides state-funded scholarships to students who attend or are assigned to an EdChoice designated public school building. Families who live in neighborhoods covered by these individual schools can apply for a $5,500 scholarship to use towards tuition at Guardian Angels. It is important to note that this scholarship is only for incoming students who do not currently attend a private school. However, incoming kindergarten students of current Guardian Angels school families and siblings of high school students currently receiving the scholarship can apply. The complete list of designated public schools can be found on the Department of Education website, and is also located in the school office.
The Edchoice Expansion Scholarship is an income-based program for students in grades KDG-8 who have an income at or below 250 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Families of students currently enrolled at Guardian Angels can apply for this scholarship, unlike the traditional scholarship described above.
