Summer Programs

Math
In order to help students maintain their skills in Math, all students returning to Guardian Angels in the fall are expected to complete work over the summer. Students going into grades 1-8 complete an age-appropriate review workbook which is due on the first day of school in August.

Summer Math books will not be a required assignment for students to complete heading into the 20-21 school year. However, if interested the summer skills Math workbook that has been used in prior years can be purchased online. The workbook is titled, Summer Solutions - Common Core Mathematics - grade XX and ordering information can be found here.

Reading
In order to help students maintain their skills in Reading during the summer months, all students going into grades 1 – 8 are asked to read one specific book, indicated by the child’s teacher. Students are also asked to keep a reading log of all the books they read during the summer. Each grade level Language Arts teacher gives detailed instructions to the students in a letter sent home with the report cards on the last day of school. That information can also be found below.
